Making prekmurska gibanica
Below you can find a short description of an element listed in the Slovene Register of the Intangible Cultural Heritage
Prekmurska gibanica is the best known festive sweet pastry from the Prekmurje region. It is made from shortcrust and filo pastry, four different fillings (cream cheese, poppy seeds, walnut and apple) and a creamy or fatty topping.
The bearer of the element of the intangible cultural heritage is The Prekmurje Food Promotion and Protection Society.
