St. George's rounds in Sevnica area
Below you can find a short description of an element listed in the Register of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Slovenia
On the eve of St. George's Day (April 24), which according to the folk calendar marks the beginning of spring, in areas around Sevnica groups of boys and men visit homes, sing St. George carols and wish good luck to the locals, who give them food, drink and gifts.
The bearers of the element of the intangible cultural heritage are (18):
