Making drevak boats

Below you can find a short description of the element in the Register

The drevák is a unique local wooden boat characteristic of the Ljubljanica River basin. Today it is made and used only on Cerknica Lake, for fishing, rescuing and recreational purposes, including tourism.


The bearers of the element of the intangible cultural heritage are (3): 

1. Anton Lovko in cooperation with the Hiša izročila, 

2. Vekoslav Kebe, Zavod za ohranjanje naravne in kulturne dediščine – Jezerski Hram, 

3. Toni and Sandi Lovko.
