Below you can find a short description of the element in the Register
Close-to-nature forest management is a purposeful, nature-oriented approach to forest management that focuses on the functioning of the forest ecosystem as a whole, and its preservation. It requires knowledge and skills about habitats, the selection of tree species, the understanding of stand structures, maintenance and restoration of forest health, and imitates processes and structures of natural forests.
The element of the intangible cultural heritage has a lot of bearers who are, due to the large number, not being inscribed in the Register.
