Below you can find a short description of the element in the Register
Close-to-nature forest management is based on forest management plans, focusing on the functioning of the forest ecosystem as a whole, and its conservation. It requires knowledge and skills about habitats, including the selection of suitable tree species, the understanding of stand structures, forest care and restoration, and mimics the structure and processes of natural forests.
The element of the intangible cultural heritage has a lot of bearers who are, due to the large number, not being inscribed in the Register.
