Amateur theatre involves volunteer members of different ages, social status and professions, who under the aegis of various drama societies prepare and stage theatre performances.
The bearers of the element of the intangible cultural heritage are (4):
1. Šentjakobsko gledališče Ljubljana – društvo,
2. Kulturno društvo Svoboda Brestanica – gledališka sekcija,
3. Kulturno društvo Miran Jarc Škocjan,
