On the eve of the bonfire (June 24), also known as the ivanje večer, the longest day of the year, white-clad singers from Adlešiči, called krêsnice, visit homes in Adlešiči and surrounding areas. By singing bonfire songs, they bring blessings, and the locals treat them to treats and gifts.
