The Vrbiške šeme are a Shrovetide group consisting of white and black characters wearing leather masks, with the most distinctive figures being the white and black hunter. On Shrove Sunday, they perform a silent theatre play in Vrbica, on Tuesday they go around the village collecting gifts, and on Wednesday they burn the Pust (Shrovetide figure).
