Cable ferrying consists of transporting people and goods from one river bank to the other with a ferry attached to a cable. This tradition still survives in Mostec near Dobova on the lower course of the River Sava and on the River Mura, for tourist purposes and other economic activities.
The bearers of the element of the intangible cultural heritage are (2):
