On Thursday, April 11, 2024, the Slovene Ethnological Society, in the framework of the SED School program, in cooperation with the Slovene Ethnographic Museum and the Bohinj House (Bohinj Municipality), organized a lecture titled Intangible cultural heritage and its safeguarding in Slovenia.
In order to expand the Register of the Intangible Cultural Heritage and learn about different domains of heritage, the representatives of the Slovene Ethnographic Museum, which performs the role of the Coordinator for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage, Anja Jerin and Adela Pukl presented to visitors and bearers the procedures for listing the elements in the Register of the Intangible Cultural Heritage and evidenting the bearers to the elements which are already inscribed on the mentioned list.
