With the initiative of the Slovenian Embassy in Beijing, China, the Slovene Ethnographic Museum, as the Coordinator for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage, prepared a Chinese-English panel exhibition and a leaflet titled Slovenia on the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
On the panels of the exhibion and in the leaflet, the intangible cultural heritage elements from Slovenia, which have so far been inscribed on the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, were presented. The exhibition was on display on the occasion of the European Culture Street event, which was held in Guangzhou in China on April 20, 2024. In the future, the Slovenian Embassy in Beijing plans to host the exhibition in other countries.
