The Coordinator for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage in the field DISPLAY OF THE INSCRIBED ELEMENTS at the unit Midwifery, published the film Midwifery: Knowledge, Skills and Practices.
Experienced midwives and the president of the Natural Beginnings Society talk about their work and mission, while researchers present the rich history of midwifery in Slovenia. The film is made with a special sensitivity to intimate subject matter and personal experiences.
The research, screenplay and conversations are the work of Dr Zalka Drglin from the National Institute of Public Health, the film was shot, directed and edited by Peter Vrčkovnik, and it was produced by the Ministry of Culture.
