KOPER REGIONAL MUSEUM AND THE ETHNOGRAPHIC MUSEUM OF ISTRIA cordially invite you to the opening of the occasional exhibition THE INTANGIBLE CULTURAL HERITAGE OF ISTRIA ON THE STATE AND THE UNESCO LIST, which will be held on Friday, May 17, 2024 at 12 in the Belgramoni Tacco Palace, Kidričeva ulica 19, Koper.
The exhibition will be on display until June 12, 2024.
PUBLIC RELEASE OF THE KOPER REGIONAL MUSEUM
In the Koper Regional Museum, we will mark the International Museum Day with the opening of the guest exhibition THE INTANGIBLE CULTURAL HERITAGE OF ISTRIA ON THE STATE AND THE UNESCO LIST, prepared by the Ethnographic Museum of Istria from Pazin.
On Friday, May 17, the Koper Regional Museum in the Belgramoni Tacco Palace will open the guest exhibition Intangible Cultural Heritage of Istria on the national and UNESCO lists.
The Ethnographic Museum of Istria from Pazin and the Center for Intangible Culture of Istria (a dislocated unit of EMI) already prepared the first exhibition on intangible cultural heritage in 2019 and now, in 2024, supplemented it with newly registered units on both the national and UNESCO Representative list of the intangible cultural heritage of humanity. The Koper Regional Museum is also joining the exhibition, which in cooperation with the Slovene Ethnographic Museum - Coordinator for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage presents the units of Slovenian Istria, entered in the national Register of the Intangible Cultural Heritage.
