9.30 – 17.00: International conference: Documenting And Presenting The Intangible Cultural Heritage With Film.
Eight European ethnologists and visual anthropologists will present their views on the theoretical starting points, the methodology and the strategy for documenting and presenting the intangible cultural heritage (ICH) on film. Screening videos for ICH registers, we will discuss their aims and diverse target groups, strong and weak points, challenges and paradoxes. What happens when visual anthropology and UNESCO's ICH project become engaged!
