Cerkljanska laufarija is a traditional carnival custom in Cerkno, featuring characters called Laufarji with distinctive wooden masks. It includes door-to-door visits, a Sunday parade through the streets, the reading of an indictment against the Pust, the search for a wooden mallet, and the execution of the Pust on Shrove Tuesday.
