As the 119th element of intangible cultural heritage, the Ministry of Culture inscribed the element Sustainable forest management in the Register of the Intangible Cultural Heritage.
On May 22, 2024, the Ministry of Culture, at the proposal of the Coordinator for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage inscribed the 118th element of the intangible cultural heritage in the Register of the Intangible Cultural Heritage – Singing partisan Songs.

In the hall of the National Gallery in Ljubljana, on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, organized by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Slovenia with partners, a ceremony was held to award the certificate for the inscription of midwifery on the UNESCO Representative List.
With the initiative of the Slovenian Embassy in Beijing, China, the Slovene Ethnographic Museum, as the Coordinator for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage, prepared a Chinese-English panel exhibition and a leaflet titled Slovenia on the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
On Thursday, April 11, 2024, the Slovene Ethnological Society, in the framework of the SED School program, in cooperation with the Slovene Ethnographic Museum and the Bohinj House (Bohinj Municipality), organized a lecture titled Intangible cultural heritage and its safeguarding in Slovenia.
At the UNESCO headquarters in Paris, an exhibition titled We are Living Heritage is on display between November 2023 and April 2024.
In the Slovene Ethnographic Museum, which participates in the European project Dance as Intangible Cultural Heritage, we continue with the recording of video materials for the exhibition we are preparing as part of the project of the same name.
On March 15 and 16, an international symposium entitled: Carnivals and Evolution took place in the Belgian carnival town of Binche. The symposium was attended by Adela Pukl, Anja Jerin, Miha Špiček and Blaž Verbič.
