On the eve of St. Gregory’s Day (12 March), children go to waterways to launch gregorčki – little model houses and other objects with lighted candles inside. This marks the arrival of spring and the tradition of craftsmen who on this day stopped working by artificial light.
The bearers of the element are:
1. Tržič Tourist Association,
2. Kamna Gorica Cultural and tourist Association,
3. Tržič Municipality.
